FERVER welcomes Director-General Mamer

This week, FERVER President, Ulrich Ix, and FERVER Secretary-General, Rene Schroeder, welcomed the Director-General of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Environment, Eric Mamer, as well as Emmanuelle Maire,. Head of Unit for Circular Economy, Sustainable Production and Consumption, to GRL Beringen. We offered a first-hand look at the recycling processes for packaging and flat glass in view of the upcoming Commission’s proposal for the Circular Economy Act.. During the meeting, we also discussed the industry’s position on the various ongoing and upcoming EU policy files.
