Selective collection, the guarantee of a performing recycling
Through the bottle bank
The household glass is collected through the well-known bottle banks. The collection is done in collaboration with the national (green dot) systems, municipalities and interurban organizations . This glass only contains packaging glass, such as bottles and jars.
The single-chamber
The single-chamber container is used for the collection of mixed coloured packaging glass (all colours) or for the selected colour collection.
The double-chamber
The double-chamber container or double bottle bank contains two compartments. One compartment is used for the collection of flint glass, the other for coloured glass.
The triple-chamber
The triple-chamber container or triple bottle bank contains three compartments. One compartment is used for e.g. the collection of flint glass, one for green and one for amber glass.
Through roll on/off containers
Glass waste from filler companies, where the glass is filled with drinks and all kinds of foodstuff, is collected in waste containers. That is the case for e.g. the glass used for soft drinks, beer and water.
